Greeninful: A Refreshing Rebranding for a Sustainable Lifestyle

Connecting the Green Community through Design

Greeninful, a young eco-friendly brand, has recently undergone a rebranding process led by designer Michelle Poon. The aim of this project was to refresh the brand's look and feel, positioning it as a missionary brand that resonates with future generations. The result is a visually engaging and community-involved visual system that reflects the brand's commitment to sustainability and its role in connecting the green community.

The inspiration for the rebranding came from the brand's core values of perseverance, curiosity, and positivity. Greeninful represents a community of individuals who care deeply about the environment, and the design draws inspiration from humans and the green community itself. The logo, with its raw yet cultivated aesthetic, symbolizes the determination and curiosity in exploring a new and continuous green lifestyle.

What sets Greeninful apart is its commitment to supporting a sustainable lifestyle and bringing the green community together. The brand offers innovative and environmentally friendly products that provide solutions to the increasing amount of waste in society. By introducing a whole new recycling lifestyle, Greeninful aims to raise public awareness towards environmental protection.

The rebranding project also takes into account the future expansion of Greeninful's business. The brand plans to start different product lines that will recycle wheat waste from beer brewing, and new sub-brands will be created. This expansion will further strengthen Greeninful's position as a leader in sustainable living.

Throughout the design process, Michelle Poon worked closely with the client, incorporating their input and conducting interviews with brand users and customers. This collaborative design thinking approach ensured that the rebranding captured the essence of Greeninful and created a brand proposition, mission, vision, and values that resonated with the target audience.

The research phase of the project was crucial in understanding the brand holistically. It involved studying the products and services provided by Greeninful, profiling the target audience, and delving into the founder's mindset and vision. One key insight that emerged from the research was the lack of connection within the green community. Greeninful fills this gap by acting as a bridge, connecting like-minded individuals and giving them a collective voice.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the design team overcame obstacles to gather sufficient data and insights. Interviews were conducted with people in the green community, ensuring that the rebranding was informed by real-world experiences and perspectives.

The rebranding design for Greeninful aims to create a refreshing and engaging visual identity. The visual system incorporates bold colors and brush strokes to convey a sense of community involvement. The bright colors symbolize hope, while the approachable and community-focused imagery reflects the brand's values. The design also embraces a collaborative and raw hand-drawn aesthetic, representing the essence of community building.

Michelle Poon's rebranding of Greeninful has garnered recognition and acclaim. The design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022 in the Graphics, Illustration, and Visual Communication Design category. This prestigious award recognizes well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The rebranding of Greeninful exemplifies these qualities, contributing to a better world through its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics.

Greeninful's rebranding project, led by Michelle Poon, showcases the power of design in creating a visual identity that reflects a brand's values and connects with its target audience. With its commitment to sustainability and community building, Greeninful is poised to make a lasting impact in the green community and beyond.
